Walt Disney World sits in central Florida, which means they get sub-tropical weather all year round. With a rainy season that brings heavy, hot, and short lived downpours; an annual hurricane season and year-round warmer temperatures than in the UK, Disney World’s weather affects holiday planning and packing.

Winter: it’s cooler in the morning and the evening, and it goes dark earlier. The weather is good for for being on your feet all day without feeling drained by the heat, but you might need gloves to watch Happily Ever After.
Spring has cool mornings and evenings at the beginning of the season, but it’s lighter for longer. The heat is picking up towards the end of the season and so is the humidity so it can feel sticky.
Summer’s hot and humid, daily down pours and thunderstorms are likely and you’ll feel the heat. Clothes stick to you and changing outfits during the day is likely, the mid-day heat can be too much and full park days feel harder on your body, so plan in shade and air-conditioning breaks.
Autumn means high humidity, less rainfall but high temperatures still. IT’s getting darker at night but the temperatures don’t drop until November. Expect to feel sticky, and be planning rest stops out of the heat.
