Walt Disney World has confirmed that Bluey's Wild World will open on 26th May 2026 at Disney's Animal Kingdom, giving families another big reason to plan time in the park this summer. The new Bluey experience will be based at the Conservation Station, where guests will be able to play games, dance, take photos with Bluey and Bingo, and explore an Australian animal-themed area called Jumping Junction.
Disney has announced this opening as part of four big 26 May debuts which are all in time for May Half-Term breaks and Memorial Day Weekend holidays. For UK families though, this Bluey announcement comes amidst a slew of new Bluey experiences for youngsters over the next few months, and many a lot closer to home than in Animal Kingdom. So if you are planning a trip to Disney this summer here’s why this opening matters; if you aren’t you’ll also find the UK-based Bluey announcements too.

When does Bluey's Wild World open at Disney World?
Bluey's Wild World opens on 26 May 2026 at Disney's Animal Kingdom, featuring:
Bluey and Bingo character meet and greet / Photo Pass opportunity
Games: Butterfly Keepy Uppy
Jumping : Australian wildlife section
This timing is huge for UK families on holiday for May half-term, planning quieter June trips with pre-schoolers, and those families heading on holiday during the 6-week school holidays.
What is Bluey's Wild World?
Bluey’s Wild World is an interactive family experience at Conservation Station. You can expect to meet with Bluey and Bingo, enjoy games and dancing, with photos and an Australian animal-themed area. This is going to be a series of Bluey themed experiences rather than a single attraction like the Here Come the Grannies coaster which opens in Alton Towers on 28th March 2026.
Bluey’s Wild World will have a slower pace and you’ll be able to enjoy the experience at your own pace, which is important for families with younger children.
Why this matters even more for UK families right now
Alongside the new Disney World experience, Disney+ has confirmed that Bluey's Big Play - The Stage Show premieres on 16 March 2026, with 10 Bluey minisodes following on 20 May 2026. Taken together with the Alton Towers opening in Cbeebies Land, Bluey is going to be a hot topic this Spring and Summer. For UK Disney fans, this means you can still enjoy this season of Bluey whether you have your Disney holiday booked or you’re just at the planning stage.

Bluey’s Big Play - The Stage show is also touring the UK throughout 2026 and 2027 if you are looking for a live theatre show experience.
Where will Bluey's Wild World be in Animal Kingdom?
Bluey's Wild World will be at Conservation Station, which families need to use the Wildlife Express Train. This does mean leaving pushchairs at the stop before boarding the train for the 7 minute journey. If you are planning to visit Bluey's Wild World, it helps to understand just how big Disney's Animal Kingdom really is. The park covers more than 580 acres, compared with around 550 acres at Alton Towers; this means that train journey is a welcome 7 minutes to treat as a snack stop and catch your breath when doing your planning.
Bluey’s Wild World will feel a little out of the way, and a bit of a trek, so be sure to plan in plenty of time to enjoy the experience.
Will Bluey's Wild World Be Busy When It Opens?
Bluey is one of the biggest family brands for younger children right now, and this opening lands during a particularly busy period for both Walt Disney World and Bluey fans. Bluey's Wild World opens on 26 May 2026, with other attractions and on the opening day of Cool Kids Summer starting, as well as falling during the busiest week in May. If Bluey is a priority for your family, it would be sensible to plan for crowds and stronger interest during the opening few days, rather than assuming this will be a low-key and quiet opening. Bluey has a massive fan-base globally.
Why fans are talking about the location
The location is one of the most interesting parts of this announcement because Conservation Station is not the most central or most heavily trafficked part of Animal Kingdom. Putting a Bluey experience there suggests Disney sees the brand as strong enough to draw families deeper into the park rather than relying on pass-through footfall alone. This means Disney expect people to go to it, and to be put off by the train ride that previously made Conservation Station one of the quietest areas of the park.
Planning to Visit Bluey’s Wild World
Do not treat this as a quick stop. If Bluey is a priority in your family, build it properly into your Animal Kingdom day.
The Bluey experience is tucked away at Conservation Station, which means families need more time just to reach it as you need to take the Wildlife Express there and back, you can’t walk to it. Working around an hour into your schedule for this attraction if you are visiting this summer will be realistic, as you take in all the area has to offer. Spending longer here will be possible, especially if your child is a super-fan.
Bluey's Wild World Could Be One of Animal Kingdom's Busiest New Family Additions
Bluey's Wild World is likely to be very busy when it opens because it is tailored for families. Animal Kingdom is currently undergoing a period of transformation and the closure of Dinoland USA removed the areas where younger children can safely let off steam. This means everyone with younger children are likely to head here no matter how much they like Bluey.
Bluey is also a global sensation amongst all age groups, so people will head over just to see the experience, which means that the opening will be busy. For UK families with Magic Tickets, the temptation to visit Animal Kingdom to see the new Bluey area and then park hop to Hollywood Studios for the new Disney Junior Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! will be high the last week of May.
Magic in a Minute
Bluey's Wild World opens at Disney's Animal Kingdom on 26 May 2026, amidst a season of major Bluey openings for UK Bluey fans and Disney World planners. For UK families this area will add real magic to holidays with under 5’s.
