Booking Jollywood Nights from the UK can be confusing. With US only booking options for the first week of ticket sales if you stay in a Disney hotel, then comes the general release which changes ticket pricing and booking options completely.
For UK visitors looking to book Jollywood Nights tickets in 2026 it isn’t about US or UK pricing and booking; it’s about knowing which ticket option will work best for your holiday. Ticket prices before adding any discount codes show that it costs less to book with Disney directly, while prices between UK vendors vary by£1 to £2 a person depending on date. However, UK vendors offer discount codes that, when applied, tend to make them the lowest priced option for UK visitors looking for Jollywood Nights tickets in 2026.
Difference Between Booking Jollywood Night Tickets With UK Ticket Vendors or Disney?
Booking Jollywood Nights tickets in the UK with a UK ticket vendor is a good option for many UK visitors because:
- You’ll avoid paying the 6.5% Florida Sales Tax which is automatically added on to prices
- There’s no card transaction fees for using your card
- There’s no pricing change because of varying exchange rates
- Discount codes make tickets cheaper than buying with Disney direct
- Booking is straightforward
However, booking with Disney direct is also much easier this year as you can gain access to the booking system in the US to buy at home without using a dodgy VPN, or needing to make a phone call to the UK Special Events team or to tickets in the US, that can incur a charge depending on your phone contract. Booking with Disney is a great option because:
- It’s direct
- Link’s to your My Disney Experience App immediately
However, because of the way Jollywood Nights tickets have sold in previous years, UK visitors can often get last minute tickets. This means you can wait to make up your mind if you’re on the fence about going, but you do need to know more about what dates sell out and how to buy tickets in the US for a last minute night out to Jollywood Nights.
Can You Wait To Buy Jollywood Nights Tickets?
Yes, this is the one Christmas party where you can wait to buy tickets until last minute, as historically all nights are not a sell-out. However, you are risking it if this is a must do experience on your trip and it would be better to buy tickets in the UK as ticket’s don’t get reduced if they still have availability.
Year | Number of event nights | Nights that sold out | Percentage sold out |
|---|---|---|---|
2025 | 13 | 9 | 69% |
2024 | 13 | 4 | 31% |
2023 | 10 | 6 | 60% |
There are however some nights that sell out which you’ll need to book here in the UK if they’re the ones you want….
What Party Nights Sell Out First?
Historically opening night has sold out first every year for Jollywood Nights. 2 out of the past 3 years, the first night sold out weeks in advance:
- 2025: Opening night (8th November) sold out on 18 October 2025; three weeks before the event
- 2024: Opening night (9th November) sold out on 8th November 2024 (just one day before the event).
- 2023: Opening night (11th November) sold out on 27th August 2023 (months in advance, largely due to the hype of it being the inaugural year).
If you are on holiday and plan to go on the first night, book your ticket sooner rather than later here in the UK. The closest night to Christmas is also popular historically selling out about two to four weeks before the event date. In 2025, it was around two weeks before the party.
Of the remaining middle party nights, there are nights that sell out just 24 to 48 hours before the event. The only middle dates that stray from this 24-to-48-hour rule are early-to-mid December Saturdays.
Do UK Jollywood Nights Tickets Sell Out At The Same Time As US Tickets?
Yes, when tickets are sold in the US this is mirrored in UK ticket availability. Jollywood Nights does have what Disney call limited capacity, which means that once the set number of tickets are sold, they are sold and the official UK ticket sellers use the same system.
When UK Visitors Should Consider Booking Last Minute Tickets In The US
Booking Jollywood Nights tickets in the US is something for UK visitors to consider, but most of these occasions mean you book once you are in the US. Examples include:
- you’re not sure about going to a party event, and will make your mind up last-minute in person
- you want to see what the weather will be like closer in, a wet night can affect the experience negatively, so you’ll wait until you are on holiday
- the only dates are close to when you arrive, and you’re worried about how the 5 hour time difference will affect will impact your enjoyment of the event, and whether you’ll be able to stay until the end without falling asleep. You’ll book last minute once there.
- a spontaneous decision: checking last minute availability in the US
- you want to use your DVC or Annual Pass discount
How To Book Jollywood Nights Tickets In The US?
When you are physically in the US and getting last minute tickets for Jollywood Nights during your holiday, you can do this in one of a few ways:
- Buying tickets online with Disney on the US website; no VPN needed as you are in America
- Heading to Disney Springs Ticket Centre opens in a new tab
- Buying on the gate at Hollywood Studios, before the day of the event
Booking at Disney Springs Ticket Centre is the best option because you just pop in whether you’re staying on-site or off-site, and you don’t need to have a ticket or be at a park before to buy tickets. It’s ideal if you are at Universal and decide you do want some Disney Magic after all. Buying tickets at Disney Springs is easy, the parking is free for everyone, and you can do it while grabbing tea.
Once in the US you can book on the Disney US website, but sales tax will be added, and bank transaction fees and the exchange rates will also affect the overall ticket price.
Early Booking & Member Discounts: How UK Visitors Get Them?
There are three booking offers for Jollywood Nights that you cannot get when you buy tickets in the UK, and you have to go to use Disney US to get them:
- £7.50 ($10.00) discount for DVC members per person
- £7.50 ($10.00) discounts for Annual Pass holders
- Early booking option for UK visitors staying in Disney World hotels
Annual pass holder and DVC member savings offer less value in comparison to buying a ticket through a UK ticket vendor because of the additional Florida sales tax, possible card fees, and exchange rate differences. UK based Disney World Annual Pass Holders and DVC members will save more buying tickets in the UK.
UK on-site visitors who have the chance to book earlier than everyone else, don’t need to take advantage of that window when booking for Jollywood Nights. They will save time and money by booking through a UK vendor when tickets go on general release without compromising on getting the dates they want.
Is It Worth Buying Jollywood Nights Tickets Early As A Resort Guest?
No, it’s not necessary to rush to buy Jollywood Nights tickets as a UK visitor staying on-site, as tickets do not sell out that fast, unlike for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party where booking in the advanced resort guest window is a real benefit for some dates. You can wait until tickets go on general sale and look for the best offer to save money for your trip.
Is it worth booking Jollywood Nights Tickets with a VPN?
No. It’s not needed this year with access to the US ticket system available here in the UK a Get Your Ticket for Disney Jollywood Nights | Walt Disney World Resort opens in a new tab. Plus you also have the option to ring Special Events in the UK to book tickets, or book tickets direct on the phone with the US team. While calling the US can involve call charges, depending on your phone contract, and you do have to take into account the time difference; I have always found them really helpful for bookings. A VPN is unreliable and not worth the cost, or hassle in my opinion.
Lower Cost Dates & Savings On UK Jollywood Nights Tickets
Jollywood Nights adds to the cost of your holiday. It increases the cost of park tickets because if you want to explore the parks outside of the one night and event, you’ll need general park admission tickets too. (UK Exclusive Magic Tickets offer the best value). So when it comes to picking dates, a shuffle where possible can save more than you think:
Which date to choose | Saving with US tickets | Saving with UK tickets |
