Jollywood Nights is Hollywood Studios 1950’s glam Christmas party that’s extending into January for the ifirst time this year. It gives 1950s glam, exclusive meet and greets and entertainments options, and the only festive dinos in Disney. From Gertie to Rex, it has an eclectic identity that gives a unique night with all the key rides, and a live entertainment and show line-up.

Jollywood Nights is Disney World festive season party event at Hollywood Studios that needs a separate ticket and shuts the park down early for 15 days. Giving festive Hollywood Glamour, this party is in its 4th year in 2026 and is already challenging the idea of what festive parties can be at Disney World.

Disney’s Jollywood Nights: 2026 Party Dates
Jollywood Nights is on for 15 select nights between 7th November 2026 and 5th January 2027, from 7:30pm to 12:30am, but offering park access from 5:30pm. 80% of party nights, that’s 12 out of 15, are on a Saturday or Monday, with days only changing for the last three dates:

Is Jollywood Nights The Best Festive Party Option For UK Visitors?
Disney’s Jollywood Nights is not the only Festive Party on across Walt Disney World resort and as such many UK visitors find themselves choosing between this and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Jollywood Nights has a distinctly grown-up vibe, especially given the 1930’s Hollywood theming which goes over the head of younger children. Jollywood Nights may well be the best festive party option for families with older teens and adults.
What Time Can You Get Into Hollywood Studios?
Jollywood nights tickets give visitors entry to Hollywood Studios 2 hours before the party officially begins without needing a daytime ticket. This gives visitors the chance to hop on some rides before the party, alongside daytime guests with general admission.
This means you get 7 hours in the park on a single party ticket. For UK visitors wondering if a party ticket could replace a day in the parks, it’s possible but not really practical as it doesn’t allow for time to take in the entertainment on offer.
What Exclusive Entertainment Is On?
In 2026, all of the entertainment from the 2025 party is returning. There’s 4 entertainment sets confirmed:
- Glisten! Skating Spectacular: A high-energy ice-skating show with projections on the Chinese Theatre and live holiday music. (There were 5 performances a night last year).
- Disney Holidays in Hollywood: Theatre of the Stars hosts this 30-minute musical extravaganza starring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Belle, Mickey, and Minnie. Expect glitzy costumes, big band music, and plenty of nostalgia. (There were 4 performances of this a night last year)
- What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along: At the Hyperion Theater, join Jack Skellington, Sally, and Oogie Boogie for a spooky festive sing-along featuring all the classic songs. (There were 5 nightly performances last year)
- Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!: A fan-favourite projection and fireworks show on the Chinese Theatre façade that includes a snoap fall. Shown once only last year because it’s the big show of the event, so you need to plan round it to watch.
Themed parties are another part of the entertainment line-up, but these are mostly tailored to an adult audience, with the exception of one:
The Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club is a 1930’s bar style experience in the courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Expect live holiday themed 1930’ music.
Pixar Disco lights up Pixar Plaza: a dance party, disco, featuring Disney Pixar characters including Edna Mode and Frozone from The Incredibles, Joy from Inside Out, and Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc.
Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby a refined, adult-oriented escape sharing culinary offerings, live music, and a grown-up vibe. This will require reservations but details aren’t out yet.

With so much going on for the party, ride wait times during this event are often on the low side, so while it’s not like attending for After Hours, if you want to get on the rides during the party, you won’t find yourself standing in long queues. But don't waste your evening on rides that you can do during daytime hours, the entertainment is the exclusive highlight you can’ t experience during park hours. The best rides to fit in if you want a quick thrill are:
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror because of the festive overlay, and the sounds you hear at the top from the night’s entertainment, it’s different than on a non-party night.
- Slinky Dog Dash: it’s got wait times are lower during the event than you’ll get in the day without a Lightning Lane, plus this ride feels different when you ride at night.
- Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway: Lower wait times and a good ride to hop on just before the event starts.

Jollywood Nights is a dream for rare character fans, as it has more characters than any other Disney holiday event. Disney have confirmed the following characters will be available for meet and greets during the 2026 event.

- Stitch dressed as Santa
- Baloo and King Louie
- The Mandalorian and Grogu
- Chewbacca celebrating Life Day
- Lotso from Toy Story 3
- Partysaurus Rex
- Bing Bong from Inside Out
- Duffy
- Scrooge McDuck
- Donald Duck and Daisy Duck
- Goofy and Pluto
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
Be sure to catch Partysaurus Rex and Bing Bong from Inside Out, not to mention Duffy, but expect lines to get long for these rare characters.
Is Jollywood Nights Worth It In 2026?
For most UK visitors, yes, provided you use the 5:30pm entry and go in knowing what the event is. Jollywood Nights is not included in the UK 7 or 14 Day Magic Ticket, so the party is an extra ticket to buy on top of what you have already paid. You are buying the atmosphere, the low crowds, and the night-time event vibe.
Can You See Fantasmic! On Jollywood Nights Party Nights?
Yes, but timing is everything. Fantasmic! typically runs during the time both people with party tickets and general admission tickets are in the park, usually around 6:30PM. (Schedules are subject to change and exact timing won’t be known until a few weeks before dates). Once the party starts at 8:30 PM, the focus shifts to event-exclusive entertainment, like the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! night-time spectacular.
Can you dress up for Jollywood Nights?
Yes, but not in a costume. Unlike Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, where matching festive jumpers or casual winter wear are the norm, Jollywood Nights leans heavily into vintage Hollywood glamour.
Guests are encouraged to dress up for the party and people wear:
- 1920s to 1950s vintage attire.
- Sparkling evening wear and suits.
- Disney Bound with a chic, formal, or retro twist.
Do You Get Free Snacks At Jollywood Nights?
No there are no free snacks or drinks at this party like you find at a lot of Disney’s other separate special ticket events. Instead, there are exclusive food and drinks available to buy; but the 2026 menu is not yet out.
Exclusive Party Food & Drinks
Disney have yet to release the 2026 food and drink line-up for the party, but when details are released this page will be updated. Jollywood Nights is a bit of food festival in disguise. Last year the event's culinary focus made it distinctive to what was on offer at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, with upscale bites, themed desserts, and holiday cocktails. It was definitely aimed at the Disney adults market and not so much families, but we’ll see what 2026 offers. I’m hoping for the return of Gertie the Dinosaur cookies.
