Disney's The Greatest Showman The Musical is moving to London’s West End in spring 2027, following a sold-out and highly acclaimed limited run at Bristol Hippodrome between 15th March and 10th May 2026. Announced as part of the Entertainment Showcase at Disney’s D23 last night, this is great news for UK Disney fans. The stage adaptation will take over Theatre Royal Drury Lane, with Oliver Tompsett and Samantha Barks among the Bristol cast members continuing with the production.

When’s The Greatest Showman musical coming to London?
The Greatest Showman The Musical will open at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in spring 2027, although Disney has not yet announced an exact opening date. Disney confirmed the West End transfer during its huge 24 entertainment announcements at D23 2026 Entertainment Showcase in Anaheim, following the musical's sold-out run at Bristol Hippodrome earlier in 2026.
The move had been widely anticipated after Bristol effectively served as the new production's first major run, but this is now official: Theatre Royal Drury Lane will become the musical's London home. Following the announcement, Disney have today also updated the The Greatest Showman - The Musical website for the theatre show so that you can sign-up for alerts, including finding out when tickets will go on sale.
Which Greatest Showman cast members are moving from Bristol to London?
Oliver Tompsett and Samantha Barks will continue as P.T. Barnum and Charity Barnum, alongside several other members of the cast from the Bristol run. For anyone who saw the Bristol production, that means the move to London is a continuation of the new Disney stage adaptation rather than a completely recast version being built specifically for the West End.

No, The Greatest Showman The Musical is not currently available to see in theatres in the UK. The musical was only on at the Bristol Hippodrome between March and May 2026, with the 10th May 2026 performance serving as the end of the musicals run. It has been announced at D23 that the musical will be opening again, but in 2027 on the West End at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Will The Greatest Showman The Musical include songs from the film?
