Disney Lorcana is returning to EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts in 2027 for the second year after being hugely popular in the parks last year. Not only is the game returning, but a new Figment card has also been announced, which is great news for fans of the park’s famous purple dragon.

What’s the new Figment Disney Lorcana card?
The new Lorcana card is called Creative Inspiration and features Figment painting with a palette and brush. It’s an Action card rather than a Figment character card, and in gameplay the effect allows a player to draw four cards.
Disney revealed the card during the Quests Ahead for Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game panel, where it was also announced that Lorcana experiences would be coming to Disney Cruise Line as a fleet-wide experience in 2027 and beyond. Along with the Figment card announcement, Ravensburger also confirmed that Lorcana will return to EPCOT International Festival of the Arts next year. This is the “first time ever “ that Figment is being featured on a Lorcana card, but the Figment card is not a playable character or glimmer card.
How do you get the Figment Lorcana card at EPCOT?
Disney has not yet said what guests will need to do to receive the Figment card, and this is the biggest, and most frustrating, unanswered part of the announcement. The announcement on socials simply showcases the card:
Disney Parks Blog describes the card as an exclusive EPCOT card. No announcement yet explains whether guests will need to complete an activity, buy a Lorcana product, or meet another requirement. Lorcana cards at the 2026 festival were distributed in several different ways, so expect an announcement soon perhaps when the festival dates and activities are confirmed.
What Disney Lorcana activities were at Festival of the Arts in 2026?
Lorcana made its Festival of the Arts debut in 2026 with quests, card trading and several limited-edition promotional cards. One of the main activities was a Collection Quest. Guests could open Lorcana booster packs and trade with other players in the Illumineer's Lounge in EPCOT's Morocco Pavilion. Completing the quest allowed participants to redeem a Donald Duck - Pie Slinger Magical Places promo card.
There was also an Ink & Find activity where visitors searched EPCOT for oversized Lorcana cards and matched them with stickers in a free Festival Questbook. Completing that activity could earn a Rapunzel - Appreciative Artist promotional card, but only while supplies lasted and it was popular.
A third card, Stitch - Rock Star, was offered as a gift with purchase when guests bought an Archazia's Island Illumineer's Trove at selected EPCOT locations.
While the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Lorcana TCG events give us an idea of what might happen at the 2027 festival, and how the Figment card might be available, nothing is confirmed.
When is EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2027?
Dates for EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2027 have not yet been announced. In 2026, the festival ran for 39 days from 16th January to 23rd February, and while it’s expected that 2027 dates will be around this time, no official dates are available at this time.
