Disney Lorcana confirm the onboard Collection Quests experiences are expanding across the Disney Cruise Line fleet in 2027, at the Quests Ahead for Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game panel event which was held as part of the D23: Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Here’s the key information:

Will Disney Wish cruises from Southampton have Disney Lorcana in 2027?
The Wish is part of the Disney Cruise Line fleet covered by Ravensburger's wider announcement, although Disney has not yet confirmed whether Lorcana activities will be available during its Southampton sailings. The Southampton sailings begin on Friday 23rd July 2027 for the summer season, so it is possible that the Lorcana experience will have been rolled out, but not a guarantee.
Is Disney Lorcana on Disney Cruise Line actually new?
No, but it will be new to some ships and it has not been a permanent feature before. Disney Lorcana activities have been tested aboard individual Disney Cruise Line ships, including the Disney Magic, but they have not been something guests could routinely look forward to as part of a cruise experience.
Lorcana appeared aboard selected Disney Treasure sailings in 2025, with activities that gave guests opportunities to play, trade cards and complete Collection Quests. Some activities were linked to special Disney Cruise Line foil variants featuring characters including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy.
The experience subsequently appeared aboard the Disney Magic. During an April 2026 sailing there was a free Collector Quest alongside other Lorcana activities and five Disney Cruise Line foil variants that had previously appeared aboard the Disney Treasure.
What’s changing is the scale. Instead of Lorcana appearing on selected ships or sailings, Disney and Ravensburger are now planning to take the experience across the wider Disney Cruise Line fleet, which is what makes this news exciting for Lorcana TCG and Disney Cruise Line fans.
What are Disney Lorcana Collection Quests on Disney Cruise Line?
Collection Quests are onboard Lorcana activities built around opening, finding or trading particular cards to complete a challenge.
On the Disney Treasure, guests taking part in Collection Quests received booster packs and a checklist of cards they needed to collect. If the required cards were not in their packs, participants could trade with other players before completing the quest for a promotional card.
A later version aboard the Disney Magic included a free Collector Quest that required advance booking, alongside a separate paid Collector Challenge. Guests could trade cards and work together to obtain the cards needed to complete their quest.
How the Lorcana experience will work as a fleet-wide Cruise ship experience isn’t yet clear, although Collection Quests will form part of the experience. Disney's D23 announcement didn’t include how the game would work, any prices, booking requirements, age restrictions or exactly what guests will receive for completing them.
Will there be exclusive Disney Cruise Line Lorcana cards in 2027?
Disney hasn’t yet confirmed which, if any, exclusive Lorcana cards will be offered as part of the 2027 fleet-wide expansion. Previous cruise activities have made collectible cards an important part of the experience, which makes new Disney Cruise Line variants an obvious question for collectors. But the D23 announcement does not confirm that the five previously offered foil variants will return, nor does it announce a new set of cruise-exclusive cards.
