Until today, Disney's published 2027 schedule for the Disney Wish stopped after a seven-night Northern Europe cruise departing Southampton on 10th September 2027 and returning on 17th September. A repositioning cruise was expected, but this is usually to a Florida port, not New York, as Disney Cruise Line have not sailed from New York since 2023. The last UK to New York sailing was a 12-night westbound transatlantic repositioning cruise on the Disney Dream from Southampton, England to New York, but it didn't stop in Iceland. This cruise stopped in ports including Vigo (Spain) and Lisbon (Portugal) before arriving in New York City.

The Disney Wish has never been to the UK before and is spending it’s first summer in the UK in 2027, so the onboard experience from the UK is going to be new for many UK holidaymakers, unless they have cruised from US ports.
