Cirque Alice is an original circus production inspired by Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Featuring spectacular circus arts and its own original creative story told through acrobatics and classical music.
Prepare to be amazed by Cirque Alice at London's iconic Royal Festival Hall within the Southbank Centre. This is the European premiere of Lewis Carroll's timeless story, which has been brought to the stage by the internationally acclaimed producers behind Circus 1903. It's a perfect winter outing for families, couples, and anyone seeking a unique experience of the Alice in Wonderland story. It's only on for 3 weeks and is perfectly timed for UK school Christmas holidays and the festive period, on from 12th December 2026 to 3rd January 2027.
Created by Tim Lawson and Simon Painter (the team behind The Illusionists and Circus 1903) this production is set to a contemporary-classical soundtrack.
The Alice In Wonderland story is more of a connecting thread through acrobatic scenes accompanied by Alice's operatic vocals. Expect to feel a sense of wonder as each scene introduces a parade of iconic, eccentric characters. Caterpillar, Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and the Queen of Hearts all have their scenes featuring classical music and acrobatics.
Why Disney Fans Should Consider It?
Experience this beloved story told through a completely new lens. The familiar characters are brought to life through elaborate puppetry and mind-boggling physical feats. It's really a world-class circus spectacle with aerialists soaring high above the stage, contortionists, and acrobats performing gravity-defying stunts. If you enjoy the vibe of Cirque Du Soliel: Drawn To Life at Disney Springs, this is something to have on your radar this Christmas.
The show has a newly commissioned soundtrack featuring contemporary arrangements and remixes of classical favourites.
