The eccentric world of the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts comes to life this festive season at Alice's Christmas Wonderland at Palace House, Beaulieu. Running from Saturday 21st November 2026 to Sunday 3rd January 2027 this display is open daily with last entry before 4pm. It is the perfect winter outing for UK Disney fans, couples, and families looking for an Alice in Wonderland-inspired experience in the heart of the New Forest.

What To Expect?

This spectacular winter event brings Lewis Carroll's timeless story to life inside a stunning historic English country house. Journey through Alice's imagination as you pass from room to room. Beaulieu opens in a new tabsay visitors can expect "magical installations, storytelling and plenty of surprises along the way".

The historic rooms of Palace House are transformed with twinkling lights, theatrical displays, and soundscapes. The centrepiece is a spectacular 20ft Wonderland-themed Christmas tree at the foot of the grand staircase, alongside beautifully decorated trees decorated with woodland toadstools and cascading playing cards. It's been designed by CLW Event Design team including Charlotte Lloyd Weber and Adrian Lille.

Why Consider Going?

Montagu House is transformed into Wonderland for the festive season and it's an installation that is designed to give a vibe. Don't expect a classic Disney animation, but do expect it to give that curious verbose Alice In Wonderland. Colourful, bright and designed to feel a little over the top in places, just like Alice's surreal Wonderland journey.

This is ideal for families already planning a day out at Beaulieu this festive season and the event is running during the Christmas school holidays.
