Autumn tasting events for adults

Wine Bar George at Disney Springs has announced 6 special events that are perfect for any UK couples looking to add something a little bit different to their Disney World holiday this Autumn. The series of events is called Uncorked at Wine Bar George. The Master Sommelier-led spot at Disney Springs is holding six different chef-led tastings and wine experiences from 5th September to 14th November 2026.

Disney Springs is free to walk into, with no park ticket needed, so an Uncorked afternoon slots neatly into a rest day between park mornings no matter where you stay. The catch, is that the reasonably priced ones will fill-up quickly and the eye-watering pricing of the specialist wine-connoisseur evenings are perhaps for the more discerning connoisseur.

What is Uncorked at Wine Bar George?

It's a series of six standalone tasting events at the Disney Springs restaurant, each priced separately. This is perfect for UK couples looking to give one a try, as you don’t need to do the full series. The line-up includes chef-led demonstrations, food and wine pairings, and deep-dive tastings, hosted by Master Sommelier George Miliotes and his team. Themes range from a slider-and-wine session to a rare-vintage tasting pitched squarely at the wine lovers.

When are the Uncorked events, and what do tickets cost?

Is this a good afternoon out for couples without the kids?

For a lot of UK couples, yes. This is aimed at adults, and is on during the food and wine season at Disney World, but it’s a world away from the theme parks. This kind of experience will be for the over 21’s and people who enjoy food and drink.

You can build an afternoon at Disney Springs around one of these on a day where you’re looking to have a slower pace. The 3pm start does mean it eats into an afternoon rather than being a late-evening thing, so it works best as the centrepiece of a rest day rather than a bolt-on after a full day in the parks.

Are these worth booking if you're travelling from the UK?

The events on the 12th and the 19th September are perfect for a couple looking for a date-type experience while on holiday. There’s a nice menu paired with the tasting, and for a low capacity event this is an experience that will add value to a trip.

The events on 5th September and 17th October are both at a higher price point and will only be worth it if you are foodies and are looking to add a special experience to your holiday. At this price point it’s comparable to Disney special events, and at this time of year that would be Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Although the events are not comparable in experience, it’s the price point.

The last two dates 3rd October and 14th November are really for people who enjoy wine tasting and have a previous knowledge of wine. At this price point per person, unless you are a wine connoisseur, this is not going ot be worth the expense for most UK couples.

How does this fit Disney World's wider autumn food scene?

Uncorked joins an already busy autumn for food and drink at Walt Disney World. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs through the same months, but that one lives inside EPCOT and you need a park ticket to enjoy what’s on offer. The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is the other big draw.

What Uncorked adds is the no-ticket, no-park, sit-down alternative and it's part of a wider push to position Disney Springs as a grown-up food-and-drink destination in its own right, not just the place you go when you're not in the parks.

Magic In A Minute

Wine Bar George's new Uncorked series brings six chef-led tastings to Disney Springs from September to November 2026. It's an unashamedly grown-up, no-park-ticket-needed option targeting UK couples looking for something different. The cheaper cocktail and slider sessions are the easy date-night picks, while the rare-wine tastings are splurges for enthusiasts. Each is a single-date, small-capacity event, so if one falls in your travel window, book early or miss it.
