Walt Disney World Resort is set to shine brighter than ever this Christmas, with festive magic taking over all four theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs. If you're heading to Florida from the UK this Christmas season, you can expect sparkling decorations, exclusive entertainment, seasonal treats, and the return of some much-loved traditions in 2025.

Magic Kingdom: Classic Christmas Vibes
Magic Kingdom is the heart of the holidays at Walt Disney World, and this year there is brand-new festive décor in Fantasyland and Storybook Circus. The park feels especially magical at this time of year, making it a must-visit for UK families.
Jingle Cruise is back, the festive overlay for The Jungle Cruise. It’s getting the popular Christmas makeover again this year and will be packed with festive props and cheesy seasonal jokes.
The Frozen Holiday Surprise show in front of Cinderella Castle is also returning for Christmas 2025. Each evening, Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff transform Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystal palace with music and lights.
Seasonal snacks and decorations are now appearing throughout the park during regular opening hours.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is running on select nights until 21 December. This separately ticketed event includes Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and complimentary festive treats.
Tickets are selling out quickly, and there are now only three party dates left Mickey’ Very Merry Christmas Party in 2025. The dates are:

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show will be available to watch in the parks without a Christmas Party ticket from 22nd December.

Disney's Hollywood Studios: Old Hollywood Glitz Meets Christmas Cheer
Hollywood Studios embraces a golden-age Christmas, filled with bright lights, vintage-inspired décor, and retro-style celebrations.
The key festive highlights for Christmas 2025 include the return of Frozen Sing-Along. The fan-favourite show returns with a special holiday finale.
Toy Story Land adds playful seasonal touches and character greetings.
Sunset Seasons Greetings is a projection show transforming Sunset Boulevard each evening with colourful Disney stories.
Hollywood & Vine offers festive character dining with Minnie and friends.
Jollywood Nights returns for it’s third year as the glitzy separate ticketed party event. With art-deco-inspired décor, event-exclusive entertainment, seasonal treats and cocktails and photo opportunities with characters in stylish holiday outfit. Running on select nights through 22 December this is ideal for adults and couples wanting an evening of glamorous holiday fun.
New for 2025
From 14 November, Walt Disney Presents debuts a new holiday film exhibition showcasing props from classics like The Santa Clause, Babes in Toyland, Disney's Noelle, and The Muppets Christmas Carol, plus screenings of historic Disney festive shorts.

EPCOT: Christmas Traditions from Around the World
From 28th November to 30th December, EPCOT hosts the International Festival of the Holidays, showcasing festive customs from around the globe.
This Christmas, you can experience the following things in EPCOT:
Holiday Kitchens with seasonal dishes and drinks from around World Showcase.
Storytellers sharing Christmas traditions from their home countries.
Candlelight Processional. A moving retelling of the Christmas story with a celebrity narrator, full orchestra and choir.
Voices of Liberty performing seasonal harmonies.
Glimmering Greenhouses. Living with the Land returns with a dazzling overlay of lights and whimsical displays.
This festival is included with standard park admission, making it excellent value for UK holiday travellers.
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Nature and Christmas Unite
Animal Kingdom offers a calm and beautiful take on the season, blending natural wonder with festive creativity. Expect to experience the following festivities:
Discovery Island glows with handcrafted animal lanterns.
Merry Menagerie returns in 2025, with life-sized, artisan-crafted creatures charming guest in Discovery Island.
Tree of Life Awakenings features a wintry night time projection show. This is one of the most atmospheric Christmas offerings at Disney World, especially after sunset.
Festive treats, music, and character greetings appear throughout the park.
Disney Springs: Christmas Shopping, Snowfall and Festive Food
Disney Springs transforms into a bustling Christmas village, perfect for shopping days or relaxed evenings away from the parks.
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is a seasonal must-do, with beautifully themed trees celebrating Disney films and characters. Nightly snowfall, or should e say snoapfall, happens as you wander the waterfront. You can also meet Santa Claus near Disney's Pin Traders.
