Disney's limited-time retail return to West London is over. The Disney Store pop-up at Westfield London, (White City), has confirmed it will close on Sunday 15 February 2026, marking the end of a run that brought Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise back to a major UK shopping centre for the first time in years.

Why the closure matters to Disney fans
When Disney announced the pop-up in 2025, the messaging was clear: this was a limited-time retail destination, opening in June 2025. It was a temporary, immersive shop designed to let fans browse in person again.

Disney never framed this as a permanent return of a full store network. The 2025 announcement positioned the Westfield shop specifically as a limited-time concept.
Still, the pop-up's popularity will inevitably fuel the same question UK fans have asked since 2021: will Disney ever properly bring back more physical stores? (
At minimum, it proves the appetite for an in-person Disney retail experience is still very real. And Disney do seem to be realising this as they have kept the Selfridges concession store open until May 2026. Hopefully they have plans to open another pop-up, at the least, after May 2026.
