Shopping for a Minnie Mouse in the Disney Store pop-up

Disney's limited-time retail return to West London is over. The Disney Store pop-up at Westfield London, (White City), has confirmed it will close on Sunday 15 February 2026, marking the end of a run that brought Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise back to a major UK shopping centre for the first time in years.

For many UK Disney fans, the Westfield store has been less about just shopping and more about getting a little slice of the classic Disney Store experience again; the kind that disappeared from most high streets when the brand shifted heavily toward online retail in the early 2020’s.

When is the Disney pop-up store closing at Westfield?

According to Disney Store's official UK store listing, the Disney Store - Westfield London location is closing Sunday 15th February at Unit SU1151, Ariel Way, Westfield Shopping Centre, London W12 7GG.

Why the closure matters to Disney fans

When Disney announced the pop-up in 2025, the messaging was clear: this was a limited-time retail destination, opening in June 2025. It was a temporary, immersive shop designed to let fans browse in person again.

At the time Enda Kelly, VP of Disney Store, said:

"We look forward to welcoming fans of all ages to step into a world of wonder, play, and magical moments this June. Westfield welcomes over 27 million visitors each year at White City and we hope to bring everyone from first-time visitors to our dedicated fans a chance to experience Disney’s magic."

That timing and limited-time framing is exactly why the closure is landing emotionally with UK Disney audiences: it's not just another shop unit rotating out, it's a short-lived comeback.

And yes, the internet is already doing what it does: fans sharing final-haul videos, "last day" posts, and wish lists that suddenly became urgent.

Even though Disney Store are closing this pop-up they announced only a week ago that the Disney Pop-Up in Selfridges on Oxford Street would be enjoying a longer run until May 2026. You can read all the details at Disney x Selfridges London Concession store here to stay until May 2026.

What happens next?

Disney never framed this as a permanent return of a full store network. The 2025 announcement positioned the Westfield shop specifically as a limited-time concept.

Still, the pop-up's popularity will inevitably fuel the same question UK fans have asked since 2021: will Disney ever properly bring back more physical stores? (

At minimum, it proves the appetite for an in-person Disney retail experience is still very real. And Disney do seem to be realising this as they have kept the Selfridges concession store open until May 2026. Hopefully they have plans to open another pop-up, at the least, after May 2026.

Magic In A Minute

The Disney pop-up store in Westfield London has now closed. This is a bitter-sweet moment that will leave many UK Disney fans asking will the Disney Store shops ever return to UK cities permanently?
