It has been a busy April for Dining Plan announcements here in the UK so far, as only last week Disney announced that the free drinks and dining offer would return for select 2027 bookings on 21st April. This is the only dining plan option with three meals a day, but for UK visitors considering this dining plan, it could completely change your holiday experience.
How much does the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan cost a UK family of 4?
The Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan is going to add a substantial amount to a holiday from the UK, especially given that most UK visitors stay for between 7 and 14 nights, maybe even longer.
The cost for the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan per night for a UK family of four in 2027 is £319.96.
To save you doing the maths of what this adds to your holiday from the UK, here is our our costings table:
Number of nights | Cost (GBP) UK family of four |
|---|---|
7 | £2,239.72 |
10 | £3,199.60 |
11 | £3,519.56 |
14 | £4,479.44 |
18 | £5,759.28 |
Anyone choosing this option also need to take into consideration US tipping culture, as the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan does not include gratuities. This means UK visitors will need to budget more for tips at their two daily table-service meals.
Is this a returning offer?
The Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan is a returning offer that was last available to add to bookings 6 years ago before the Covid closure of Disney World in March 2020. When the dining plans returned to Disney World and as a booking option in 2024, the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan was no longer available for UK or domestic guests in the US.
While the return of this offer is exciting, it also provides UK visitors with a Full-Board equivalent offer, but yet another planning decision to make.
Is the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan in the free UK drinks and dining offer 2027?
As of today, the UK’s 2027 drinks and dining offer does not include an equivalent for this dining plan as part of the free offer. It is possible that Disney could change the offer when it is formally released on 21st April, but this seems highly unlikely. That means that the only way UK visitors will be able to have the Deluxe Dining Plan as part of a 2027 booking is to pay more to upgrade to it. Or to book their trip in one of the blackout windows and choose to pay to add the Deluxe Dining Plan to their booking.
What’s the difference between the 3 dining plans?
The main differences between Disney World’s three dining plans can be seen below:

Should you book the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan?
There are three big deciding factors that are going to affect UK holidaymakers when choosing whether to book the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan:
the amount of food
the cost
the time table service dining takes from in-park experiences
There is a large amount of food to eat every day with this option, so food needs to be a big part of how you plan to experience and explore Disney World. This dining plan option is also going to take up a considerable amount of time during your holiday, and will keep you tied to Disney property more so than any of the other options. This means that UK visitors looking to explore the Orlando area or other theme parks such as Universal Studios may want to give this option a miss.
The Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan is also a luxury option that is going to add a lot to the upfront cost of a Disney holiday from the UK. For UK visitors who are budget conscious, this is not an option to consider. Families saving to visit Disney for that once-in-a-lifetime trip may also need to seriously assess the value this dining plan will bring to their holiday, especially if you have younger children who may not want to head to two sit-down meals a day.
On the other hand, UK holiday makers looking to enjoy as much Disney dining as possible, may find good value in the offer. This offer may well appeal to Disney adults from the UK, who want to enjoy more dining experiences.
For most UK visitors however, the Deluxe Table Service Dining Plan may not be the best option for their 2027 bookings as it is a significant investment.
