2 New Tangled Attractions Coming To Disney World and Disneyland Paris In 2026: Opening Timelines Revealed

Rapunzel fans rejoice, especially if you’re UK based, as she is finally getting an attraction in the two Disney parks closest to the UK. In 2026, after more than 15 years since Tangled debuted creating an instant fan following, Rapunzel is finally going to get an attraction in Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris. As both resorts continue to transform, improving guest experiences, Disney is poised to give the beloved 2010 animated film a meaningful park presence it has long lacked.

Rapunzel Comes "Off the Page!" at Walt Disney World

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animation Courtyard is being transformed into The Magic of Disney Animation which is confirmed to debut in the parks in summer 2026. This new area marks a major milestone for animation-inspired experiences, and for Tangled in particular. When the land opens, Rapunzel will finally receive her first permanent meet-and-greet location in a U.S. Disney park, albeit within a larger meet-and-greet experience.

Rapunzel will be found inside the “Off the Page!” meet-and-greet that is going to replace Star Wars Launch Bay. Off the Page! is a 6 character meet and greet, and Rapunzel will be in the area themed around the pioneering multiplane camera. Her meet-and-greet is going to immerses guests in an exaggerated version of early animation filmmaking. Rapunzel joins the "Off the Page!" line-up of six character encounters, each representing a department of animation production-from Story to Lighting and Effects.

“Off the Page!” will open in Summer 2026 at Hollywood Studios.

Meanwhile, younger guests can step into a whimsical Drawn to Wonderland indoor play area inspired by Mary Blair's iconic Alice in Wonderland concept art. This is a space where characters may appear unexpectedly and interact.

This addition comes during a period where other areas in Hollywood Studios are also being reimagined including the transformation of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster into a Muppets-themed adventure.

Disneyland Paris Announces Opening Date for Rapunzel Tangled Spin

Across the Atlantic, Disneyland Paris has also confirmed that Tangled will soon be a part of Adventure Way, the main walkway in Disney’s Adventure World. As the resort officially announced the opening date for World of Frozen and the broader transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World, it also revealed new details for a Tangled-themed attraction situated just outside the Frozen land.

Raiponce: Tangled Spin Opens March 29, 2026

The new attraction, Raiponce: Tangled Spin (or Rapunzel Tangled Spin) is a family-friendly spinner ride that places guests in whimsical gondolas beneath a glowing, lantern-filled sky. The ride is inspired directly by the film's iconic lantern festival sequence and will feature new orchestrations of "I See the Light" and "Kingdom Dance."

Disneyland Paris will debut Rapunzel: Tangled Spin on March 29, 2026, the same date that World of Frozen officially opens, and Disney Adventure World opens in it’s new guise, marking one of the most significant days in the park's history since it opened on 16th March 2002.

Positioned at the gateway to the newly rethemed Disney Adventure World, the attraction adds another fairytale experience to the park's evolving line-up and further strengthens Disneyland Paris as a global showcase for modern Disney storytelling.
