A one -night only concert event, with an all female orchestra supporting a full showing of the 2001 Princess Diaries film at the hammersmith Apollo. This is a special event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film that meant so much to many millennials.
What To Expect?
Watch the whole film with a live all-woman orchestra, The Sinfonietta, performing the film's score. The first film will be playing which shares the story of Mia Thermopolis, (played by Anne Hathaway), as she learns she is not just a teenager from San Francisco but rather heir to the throne of Genovia. As Mia navigates friendship, boys, school and a new relationship with her Grandma, (played by Julie Andrews), the film shares a heart-warming story that just does not feel 25-years old.
More world-wide dates are coming soon, but we are not yet sure if there will be more UK dates.
How long is the event? It's a roughly 2 and a half hour evening-out with an intermission.
