Mickey and the Magician will close at Disney Adventure World from 10th January 2027 while the Animagique Theater undergoes an extended refurbishment. Some outlets are suggesting it will not be on throughout 2027, but currently no reopening date has been announced. UK guests planning 2027 trips, and looking to book when 1st April 2027 to 31st March 2028 window opens, should currently plan on one of the resort's headline stage shows being unavailable for much of the year.

Why Is Mickey and the Magician Closing?
The confirmed reason is an extended refurbishment of the Animagique Theater which sits in the newly transformed World Premiere Plaza area of Disney Adventure World. Mickey and the Magician is the venue's headline production, built around stage illusions, special effects and appearances inspired by films including Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin and Frozen. This is an extended closure as part of the refurbishment.
What Shows Will Disneyland Paris Have Instead in 2027?
Disney Adventure World will still have major live entertainment in 2027, even with Mickey and the Magician unavailable. Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland returns in spring 2027, bringing back its outdoor combination of pop-rock music, BMX stunts, and acrobatics. While TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure is also staged at the Studio Theater and remains one of Disney Adventure World's main indoor productions.
While the closure may be annoying for fans of this indoor attraction, there are still show options in Disney Adventure World during the closure.
