When is the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival?
The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will take place from:
27th August to 21st November 2026
That gives UK visitors an 87-day festival window, almost identical in length to the 2025 event, which ran from 28th August to 22nd November 2025. This festival works in well with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dates, which have also been announced today, but only runs until 31st October 2026.
Which UK school holidays overlap the Food and Wine Festival 2026
For UK visitors, this festival covers the end very of the 6-week school summer holidays, but runs for the whole of September and October, a popular time for UK adults to visit. This festival will also overlap October half-term holidays, depending on your school and local authority dates.
What’s included in the 2026 Food and Wine Festival?
Food & Wine is included with valid EPCOT admission, which includes the UK Magic Ticket, so you do not need a separate festival ticket. The Food and Wine Festival 2026 has new and returning booths from the Global Marketplaces, and you pay for those items separately, although if you have a dining plan some items in the booths will class as snacks. To make the most of this Festival we do advise UK guests budget for snacks and drinks to try.
Festival days mean you can graze around World Showcase, use it as lunch or dinner, and still mix in rides such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After. Wandering around this year’s Festival you will find:
Global Marketplaces around EPCOT
Emile's Fromage Montage, the cheese-themed food stroll - pay for food items and get stamps in your passport for a free item at the end
Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, the family scavenger hunt that you pay to do and get a small prize upon completion
Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre - free musical concerts
While Disney are teasing the return of several food items, including Street Corn-style Dumplings from Gyozas of the Galaxy, Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer from Australia, and Kirschwasser Torte from The Alps. The full menus have not been released yet, with Disney’s website saying “check back in summer 2026 for more details”.
Opening is staged
If you are looking at these dates and thinking that you will catch the beginning of the Food and Wine Festival during your summer holiday trip at the end of August bare in mind that not everything may open on day one. Some Global Marketplaces will have a phased opening during the 2026 event. That means early visitors may get the festival atmosphere but not necessarily the complete food line-up from opening day.
If you are planning your trip from the UK around sampling what the Food and Wine Festival has to offer in 2026, September and October will be better times to visit to get the full atmosphere and menu options.
Is Food & Wine good for families?
This is the least family friendly EPCOT festival, but it that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty for UK families to enjoy during the Festival. If you have any Ratatouille fans, this Festival has an extra sparkle for instance. However, as the focus is on the food, some children are less interested.
Food & Wine is often seen as EPCOT's more adult-focused festival because of the wine, beer and cocktail offerings. Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak returns for 2026, giving children a reason to explore World Showcase beyond simply following adults from booth to booth, but this is something you will need to pay to do, and it works out around £10.
For UK families with children, the best approach is to treat the festival as an added layer to your EPCOT day rather than making a whole day of exploring the Festival itself.
What about the Eat to the Beat concerts?
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series are also returning in 2026, with performances held at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion. Dining package details and the full artist line-up will be released later in the year, but this is something to consider if you have a dining plan.
For UK visitors, keeping an eye out for the concert line-up is a must. If a favourite artist lands on your EPCOT day, it could shape which evening you choose to spend in the park.
Should UK visitors plan a trip around Food & Wine in 2026?
Food & Wine probably should not be the only reason to book Walt Disney World in late August, September or October, but it is a strong perk if those dates already work for your family.
The biggest caution here is budgeting. Eating at any of the EPCOT festivals can add up quickly, but given the food and wine focus of this one, it’s our most likely to overspend festival. But until the 2026 menus are released, we’ll have to see just how many dishes make it on to the must try list.
The magic in a minute
The 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival runs from 27th August to 21st November. While not all details have been announced, including the menus to help you plan those all important snacks, UK visitors now know whether their holiday dates line-up with this year’s most grown-up festival in EPCOT.
