Disney UK fans were quick to snap up ticket’s to the now sold-out Magic of Disney pin trading event at Selfridges in London. The event coincides with the first drop of a brand new limited edition collectible series of Disney pins launching this November.
Disney Store are dropping this pin collection in three stages, beginning with 11 exclusive designs debuting on the 11th day of the 11th month. With limited quantities and huge pin collector buzz, this might be the most sought-after pin release of 2025.
UK Disney Pin Collection Launches With Selfridges Sold Out Event
The exclusive in-store pin trading event takes place on 11th November 2025 from 6:00 to 09:15am at Selfridges, Oxford Street, giving UK pin collectors the first chance to purchase 11 designs from The Magic of Disney collection. Each pin is limited to one per design per guest, with styles ranging from classic spinners to jumbo collectibles.
Attendees will also receive a complimentary limited-edition pin when leaving the event; one of the reasons this £20 ticketed experience sold out within hours of release.
The event is part of the wider Disney and Selfridges collaboration this Christmas, “A Most Magical Christmas”. Special events, such as this pin-trading event are part of the collaboration.
Three-Stage Pin Launch
This collection is not exclusively going to roll out in Selfridge stores however, although the “A Most Magical Christmas” collab is bringing an array of other exclusive merchandise for fans to buy this Christmas.
The Magic of Disney, a 29-pin collection, will be released in three drops:
Drop 1 on 11th November: 11 pin styles released first at the sold-out Selfridges event. Anu remaining stock from the drop will be available in stores from 14th November.
Drop 2 on 17th November (8am): 9 new designs released online at Disney Store UK
Drop 3 on 10th December (8am): Final 9 designs dropping online at Disney Store UK.
All purchases are limited to one per style, and supplies are expected to disappear quickly when the online drops go live. We advise you to pick a pin from each range and go for it!
Why It’s A Big Deal
For UK Disney pin collectors, this is the first major pin trading event of its kind in year, and a rare partnership between Disney Store and Selfridges too. The mix of nostalgia in the pin designs and exclusivity gives the pins an even bigger ‘must have’ factor.
The event, which was released on 15th October 2025, will give fans that parks feel, with the excitement of trading with cast members and other Disney pin trading enthusiasts.
The only shame is that the event is being held exclusively in London and not in any of the other Selfridges stores which would have given more fans the chance to join in and made it easier for Northern UK Disney fans to join in.
Even though this event is sold-out, fans still have a chance to get a pin from this exclusive range. And hopefully the popularity and excitement around this pin-trading event may means the Disney Store hold more in the future.
