What The New Route Means For UK Travellers
For UK holidaymakers, this new Orlando-Tokyo service opens up the exciting possibility of a two-stop Disney holiday across two continents. A holiday that combines the sunshine and thrills of Florida with the culture and charm of Japan.
Currently UK travellers flying from London Heathrow, Gatwick, or Manchester can connect to Orlando with major airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, and British Airways. The option to fly to Japan directly from the UK is also possible, but only from London Heathrow currently with British Airways, Japan Airlines and ANA.
Estimated direct flight times for a UK to Orlando to Japan to UK trip:
London (LGW) to Orlando (MCO): 9 hours (non-stop)
Orlando (MCO) to Tokyo (NRT): 14 hours (non-stop)
Tokyo (HND) to London Heathrow (LHR): 14hrs 40 mins (non-stop)
With smart scheduling, travellers could enjoy Walt Disney World first, taking in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Then jump on a direct flight to Tokyo and experience Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea home to the newly opened Fantasy Springs expansion.
What UK Families Can Expect To Pay
Prices have yet to be confirmed, but early travel experts suggest that roundtrip ZIPAIR fares could range from £850 - £1,100 per person. Combining Orlando and Tokyo in one holiday will likely appeal to many Disney fans, but the price might be a little more constraining making it really a bucket-list trip. It could make for the perfect honeymoon, birthday trip, or family celebration.

This makes the proposed February - March 2026 schedule a dream combination for weather and crowd levels in both Orlando and Tokyo. The perfect time for a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
