Christmas Events Announced At Disney World For 2025

If you’re travelling from the UK to Walt Disney World, or simply dreaming of planning that Disney Christmas holiday in Orlando, here’s what Disney have in store for guests across the resort this year. From 14th November to 31 December 2025, Walt Disney World Resort transforms into a glittering winter wonderland filled with seasonal decor, holiday entertainment, limited-time food and drink, and magical experiences for the whole family.

Whether it’s sipping hot cocoa on Main Street USA, meeting Santa Claus, or exploring the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, a trip to Disney during the festive season is filled with extra magic and unforgettable memories.
Magic Kingdom Park
Magic Kingdom transforms during the Christmas celebrations in Walt Disney World and this year you can expect to find stunning holiday decor. Expect Main Street USA to sparkle as well as finding festive touches throughout the park.
Jingle Cruise, the festive overlay for Jungle Cruise will return. Skippers will be serving up some festive dad-joke humour during your ride, as well as the usual festive touches to scenes in the jungle.
“Frozen Holiday Surprise” will play on the stage by the castle. Olaf and 100 of his snowgie siblings will decorate with garlands ornaments, wreaths and more.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios gives a totally different Christmas vibe, and this year you can expect the following festive touches. Sunset Season’s Greetings is an overlay that gets played over the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The hotel will appear as a giant gingerbread house, snowy Toy Story scene, and more this Christmas while festive music plays. It’s great entertainment to watch while standing in the queue for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
Frozen Sing Along is getting a festive makeover this year. The Royal Historians of Arendelle will be holding a frosty sing-along, along with some festive extras. In previous years it has snowed in the theatre, which is a magical festive touch.
For UK visitors booking Disney character dining experiences, the Hollywood and Vine characters will be getting a festive makeover. Minnie Mouse and her friends will be welcoming guests in their best Christmas outfits, adding a festive twist to your character dining photos.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom Park is possibly the best Disney park for festive editions. Merry Menagerie will return to Discovery Island, where beautiful hand-crafted animal puppets parade the paths, creating a magical and artistic display for guests leaving and entering the park. If you have been to Chester Zoo’s Lanterns and Light nights, the puppets are pretty much the same.
The Tree of Life gets it’s festive sparkle back this year with the Tree of Life Awakenings. A beautiful visual display of animated projections that celebrate the winter season. The Awakening happen every night, several times once it gets darker.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
Running from the 28th November to 30th December 2025, this festival celebrates Christmas and holiday traditions from around the world. There is a lot going on in this park during the International Festival of the Holidays:
Holiday kitchen: food and drink stalls offering festive themed treats to buy
Candlelight Processional: Hear the Christmas story told by a narrator with choir and full orchestra.
JOYFUL! and World Showcase Storytellers: Live music and festive tales.
Living with the Land: Christmas additions to the greenhouse bring magic to the classic ride.
Olaf’s Holiday Scavenger Hunt: Pay to join the festive scavenger hunt and find all the hidden Olaf’s hiding around World Showcase. A great way to spend an afternoon if you have kids.
Cookie Stroll: Buy five different cookies from food locations around the World Showcase and get a free surprise reward.
Disney Springs
Disney Springs also gets a beautiful festive makeover with the Christmas Tree Stroll. This is a free activity families can enjoy by simply picking up a leaflet with stickers and wandering around marking off the various Disney themed trees as they find them.
You can also find Father Christmas at Disney Springs until Christmas Eve, perfect for getting a Christmas photo.
Disney Resorts
If you have booked to stay in a Disney hotel this Christmas expect to find beautiful decorations in the lobbies and seasonal food and drink on offer in the hotel restaurants and quick service locations. You’ll also find festive merch on sale in the shops.
