Today marks the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Beach, and to celebrate we have found out that it will be open for the first time in six years this summer. UK guests visiting Walt Disney World will be able to enjoy both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach as part of their 7 or 14 day Magic Ticket between May 21st and September 7th, 2025.
30th Anniversary celebrations
This April there are anniversary themed dance parties, meet and greets with Disney characters in winter themed outfits, games, and special anniversary merch. Not to mention temporary tattoos to mark the 30th anniversary and, of course, yummy snacks and drinks.
Disney waterpark summer opening schedule
Blizzard Beach will be closing briefly from May 1st to the 21st, but then it will reopen through to the September 7th, 2025.
Typhoon Lagoon reopens on May 1st, 2025. There will also be special Disney H20 Glow After Hours events at Typhoon Lagoon this summer, which you can pay extra to attend.
