‘A Most Magical Christmas’ launches in Selfridge’s stores across the UK today, and it’s a festive takeover unlike anything the UK has experienced before. From today, UK Disney fans can head to Selfridges to experience a wonderland of exclusive collections including immersive windows, and nightly light shows at the Selfridges Store in London.
In the Birmingham and Manchester stores there isn’t a light show, but you will find magical Disney merch, windows, and events throughout the festive season.

A Disney Castle Appears In Oxford Street
London’s Selfridge’s store has it’s own Disney Castle as part of the collaboration. Not only is this an exciting emblem for Disney fans to see, inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Paris and California, it is also a first for Selfridges in over 50 years:
“This 11-metre-tall, custom-made 3D castle model is the biggest installation to feature on the store for more than half a century.”
The Disney Castle is the culminating focal point of the night time show that will take place across the façade of the Oxford Street store. Every evening from 5- 9pm, the Oxford Street store will sparkle to life with a light and music show featuring Tinker Bell, Cinderella’s Carriage, and Peter Pan’s Jolly Roger ship.
The show is set to turn on of London’s busiest shopping streets into a scene straight from a Disney dream.
Disney Displays in the Windows
Nostalgic window displays giving 90’s Disney Store vibes feature across all four Selfridge’s Stores. Twelve Oxford Street windows have been transformed with hand-painted sets inspired by Disney Classics including Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella. One display even lets guests interact with Tinker Bell.
Manchester and Birmingham stores feature windows themed around Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella, and Fantasia.
André Maeder, Selfridges Group Chief Executive Officer, says:
"We’re beyond excited to share the magic with our customers and see the joy on their faces as they enjoy the light show on the façade, dive into the Disney windows and create memories at our spectacular experiences. This is truly set to be a most magical Christmas.”"
