What’s Happening?
Starting on 22nd December 2025, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be shown nightly at 8.30pm. This will continue during the Christmas period. This firework display is part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which starts on 7th November 2025. But once the party nights finish this year, regular guests will be able to enjoy the show in the Magic Kingdom as part of their entry price.
The night time show will be hosted by Minnie Mouse herself and feature a dazzling display of pyrotechnics set to classic Christmas songs such as “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”.
Why This Affects Disney Planning and Budgeting
From 22nd December onwards, anyone visiting Magic Kingdom will get to experience the festive spectacular without the extra ticket cost. A major win for guests visiting over Christmas and New Year week. Or for those who head home on 24th December.
For UK visitors heading to Florida during the Christmas school holidays, this is great planning news. You’ll get to experience tastes of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party without the outlay and it adds a magical extra to your trip. Happily Ever After will not be on as far as we can tell during this time.

Avoid Planning Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
If you are heading out to Walt Disney World for the Christmas season and will be in the parks between the 18th and 25th December and are considering grabbing a ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this may be a reason not to. Many people book the party to enjoy the exclusive shows, but if you are at Disney World that week, you can enjoy this firework show without the extra cost, just by heading to Magic Kingdom.
Planning to go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as a UK visitor isn’t really going to add a lot of extra festive magic to your life if you’re already heading out Christmas week. So perhaps save the extra ticket cost and plan your days so you catch Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Magic Kingdom as part of your ticket cost.

Planning Tips For Watching
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be on nightly until the beginning of January 2026. Here are our top planning tips:
Best viewing spots for the castle display: in front of Cinderella Castle for the full effect and show. Will need to be there about 45 minutes before, at least an hour before Christmas Day.
Best viewing spots for a quieter crowd experience that will only show the fireworks: by Belle’s Castle at the side of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. No need to curtail getting round attractions. Can get there five minutes before and still have space around you.
Main Street U.S.A. will be busy, but you will get a more distant view of the castle projection show from here.
Consider grabbing snacks to eat before finding a spot, and bring something to keep kids entertained.
Avoid filming with a flash on the whole way through.
Magic in a Minute
From 22nd December 2025, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will sparkle over Magic Kingdom every night; no party ticket needed, just pure Disney festive magic.
